Øystein Lønvik

Born in 1992 in Tromsø, Øystein Pålssønn Lønvik was raised in Inderøy and currently resides in Oslo. He apprenticed under sculptor Helmut Kubitschek in Freiburg, Germany, holds a journeyman's certificate in woodcarving, and earned a bachelor's degree from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Recently, Lønvik showcased his works at the project space of Gallery Format in Oslo. In 2020, he participated in the 74th Northern Norwegian Art Exhibition and the November Exhibition held at the Drammen Museum, organized by the Buskerud Visual Artists and at SKOG’s first exhibition TRE in 2022.
